EARKUS: WOOD / GRAIN
Live performance of improvised rhythm structures composed solely of sounds recorded during the performance. WOOD / GRAIN is performed with a soundboard of various wooden sound objects and a sampler, which is used to extend tonal range of the "grains" and add repetition. About: Earkus is a beatmaker from Helsinki combining hip hop and music concrete in his works. |

UALE is Alexandre Riviello, Brazilian multimedia artist and art teacher currently living and working in Helsinki.
His artwork explores the relation between urban signs, the public and the private, video-semiotics and the possibility of live image.
He is also interested in the sociological and philosophical relations of cultural identity, authorship and the power of social media.
