In their installation Elham Rahmati, Danai Anagnostou and Heidi Paju, reflect on the results of rapid change and communicative distortions. Works are driven from the wish to examine different processes of apprehension and interpretation by human and non-human beings, also exploring how to visually represent translation and codification programmes, and the contemporary urge to disappear, hide or remain unseen.
Heidi Paju is a master student of Estonian Academy of Art in Installation and Sculpture. In her artistic practice she is tangling the topics of social imbalance, equality and communication. Current exhibition is dealing with the information that is included and excluded in the process of translation.
Elham Rahmati is a visual artist from Tehran, currently studying Visual Culture and Contemporary Art at Aalto University. She holds an MA of Visual Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.
