Horonkäristys Anger Management Master Class – Advance Self Help Workshop

This year Performance duo Horonkäristys organizes a workshop tour around Europe. The workshop is a free two-day course, that offers affordable and useful ways of channeling anger and negative energy into making every-day life a little easier. The course fits up to 8 people at a time, and the participants are chosen in the order of enrollment. We focus on affordable every-day materials so that the exercises can easily be repeated at home and adopted as useful life skills. The workshop is designed for adult audiences. Both days consist of a lecture, a self-financed lunch break and physical training. Afterwards the exercises are discussed together and in the end of the course, the participants have the opportunity to try their newly adopted skills in real life on the streets of Helsinki. A-M-M-C is therefore also an introduction to performance art.
"Horonkäristys Anger Management Master Class is a performance. We are not mental coaches or psycho therapists, we are performance artists and we approach Anger management with the tools of performance art. The participants walk away with new skills, a refreshing experience and a Horonkäristys Anger Management Master Class Diploma. We document each course on video and in the end of the year we make a compilation of the whole tour. As a gift to Third Space and all the people who cannot participate, we make a small sample performance the day before our Workshop begins."
The workshop takes place on Sat-Sun 18.-19.07. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There is a break in between; a chance to catch lunch somewhere.
