Together Ahonen and Hietala throw actions into the riptides of alienating layers from documentation and physical presence. The foundation for their collaboration is striving to fall out from the comfort zone and to guide the audience with them into the unknown.

Artists are present in the gallery, the space is open to drop in or share time. Different actions and work will happen in the gallery. If you have been involved with Antti´s and Meri´s projects, come and share your memories, if not, come and make new ones.

Meri Hietala is multidisciplinary artist based in Kouvola. She creates performances, sound- and installation art. She has MA in environmental arts.

Antti Ahonen is visual artist based in Helsinki and he works in the fields of media art, performance art, photography and in between. He is known of his work i.e. KOELSE - Association of experimental electronics - and as an systematic documenter of live art.

Yhdessä Ahonen ja Hietala toteuttavat fyysisen läsnäolon ja dokumentaation etäännyttävien kerrosten ristiaallokossa leikitteleviä aktioita. Yhteistyön lähtökohtana on pyrkimys heittäytyä ulos mukavuusalueelta ja viedä myös yleisö mukanaan tuntemattomaan.

​Taiteilijat ovat läsnä, tilassa voi poiketa tai viettää aikaa. Tilassa tapahtuu erilaisia aktioita ja tilassa työskennellään. Jos olet joskus osallistunut taiteilijoiden projekteihin, tule jakamaan muistojasi, jos et niin tule tekemään uusia.

Meri Hietala on Kouvolassa asuva monialainen taiteilija, hän tekee performansseja, ääni- ja installaatiotaidetta. Koulutukseltaan Meri on Ympäristötaiteen Maisteri.

​Antti Ahonen on Helsinkiläinen kuvataiteilija, joka toimii laajasti mediataiteen, performanssitaiteen ja valokuvauksen kentillä sekä niiden välillä. Hänet tunnetaan työstään mm. Kokeellisen elektroniikan seuran parissa sekä elävän taiteen systemaattisena dokumentoijana. http://anttia.net/
