You are invited to take part in a project to claim or reclaim public spaces and interrogate how we perceive people hanging there or just going through, and how we feel entitled or not to be there. To do so, 3 times a week Ariane Sirota will welcome you for 2 steps workshops:
- A talk to define a spot, a figure, it's posture and an objet it'll be set to interact with, the artist will shape a model for the group to refer to during the following step.
- A building session on the spot with materials collected from waste and papier mâché.
Models will be exhibited in the gallery alongside a map showing the places where the larger sculptures were/are/to be set up. Participants will be invited to pin pictures showing date and time related to the the map. These datas will also be available on a blog, inviting web surfers to discover the neighborhood on their screen and « In Real Life » and to participate in monitoring the evolution of the sculptural interventions in urban landscape.
