Mesak is among the well established electronic musicians from Finland, born and raised in the city of Turku. He first started releasing records with his band Mr Velcro Fastener, and on the side the solo career as Mesak has been active now for nearly 20 years with numerous releases, remixes and live playing. Apart from his electro-techno tracks and his twisted downbeat label Harmönia, he has been performing a lot of improvised experimental music, last years mostly on a modular system. https://soundcloud.com/mesak/ :::: One month ago Ilpo Numminen was creating a sound installation to the Akusmata sound art gallery (with J. Koho) and while they were recording it he accidentally figured out an interesting way to generate chaotic sound recycling.
